The 2005 Capital City Youth Classic was February 26-27, 2005. This was a Regional Youth Circuit Event Tournament Director: Lisa Franz We also have pictures from the event. This was the biggest tournament we ever hosted, with registrations and walk-ins far beyond what we expected. There were delays and some snags, but we're still proud. We plan to observe some other tournaments and hope next year will be an improvement. We offer our profound thanks to those who served as Directors, Armorers, Registration table workers, Vending workers, those who helped hook up kids, and those who helped comfort kids. We apologize to those who's schedules were thrown off by the overwhelming turnout at our 7th Annual Tournament. We are very excited about the folks that attended from 7 different states! These are the stats: Registered fencers = 138 There were many questions regarding ratings earned at the tournament. USFA rules state that no ratings can be awarded, nor points awarded for the RYC events due to the age restrictions if they are E1 or D1 classifications. Ratings can only be given at age restricted events if the event is a C1 classification or higher. Some points can be awarded at the SuperRYC events.
